Creating Talents

Learn how to add new talents to your roster, including the draft workflow and required fields.

Creating a New Talent

  1. Navigate to Talents in the sidebar
  2. Click the + New Talent button in the toolbar
  3. Fill in the required fields:
    • First Name – Talent's first name
    • Last Name – Talent's last name
    • Email – Primary email address for booking notifications
  4. Optionally add:
    • Phone number
    • Talent type
  5. Click Save to create the talent

The Draft System

When you click + New Talent, a draft profile is created immediately. This allows you to:

  • Start entering information right away
  • Navigate away without losing data
  • Cancel if you change your mind

Draft Behavior

  • Drafts are temporary – Until you save, the talent exists only as a draft
  • Drafts don't appear in lists – Other team members won't see incomplete profiles
  • Cancel discards the draft – Clicking Cancel removes the draft entirely

Saving Your Talent

Once you click Save:

  • The draft becomes a full talent profile
  • The talent appears in your roster
  • Other team members can see and edit the profile

Required vs Optional Fields

Required Fields

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • Email

Recommended Fields

  • Talent Type – Helps filter and organize your roster
  • Profile Photo – Makes the talent easy to identify
  • Birth Date – Lets NowRep show guardian-on-file prompts for minor talent

Optional Fields

All other fields (phone, measurements, documents, bio, guardian details, etc.) can be added later by editing the profile.

Minor Talent and Guardian Details

After you add a birth date, NowRep checks whether the talent is under 18. If they are, the edit form shows a dedicated Guardian on File section after Personal Info and before Contact.

Guardian details are optional in the product, but strongly recommended for minor talent. Add the guardian name and relationship first, then include email, phone, and any useful internal context.

Signed consent forms and releases should be uploaded through the Documents section in the edit form or from the talent profile Documents tab. You do not need to enter a document ID in the guardian fields.

After Creating a Talent

Once your talent is created, you can:

  • Add profile details – Contacts, skills, languages
  • Enter measurements – Physical measurements
  • Upload documents – contracts, passports, etc
  • Assign management – Internal and external representation
