Team Coverage

Review manager workload, find unassigned talents, and update internal management assignments in bulk.

Team Coverage gives your agency one place to see which eligible team members manage each talent. Use it to find gaps, compare workloads, and update several assignments without opening every talent profile. Eligibility comes from the member's active Position; the actor's Manage Talents permission still controls who can make the change.

Accessing Team Coverage

  1. Go to Settings > Team Coverage
  2. Review the summary and manager list

Team Coverage is available to team members whose role includes Manage talents permission.

Reading the Page

The coverage overview shows the percentage and count of active talents with a Primary manager, alongside the number of managers with assignments. Archived talents with active assignments are noted separately and remain read-only until restored.

Each manager row shows their contact and role information, Primary and Secondary counts, and assigned talent preview. Talent avatars use the colored outline for status and the I/E badge for visibility. Search and filters can narrow the list by role or assignment type. Open a manager to review the talents assigned to them.

If a member becomes inactive or loses an eligible Position while an assignment still needs attention, they appear under Needs Attention. Open the manager, end the stale assignment with a reason, then use Assign Talents to choose an eligible active manager. Existing history is preserved; an eligibility change does not silently delete or reassign talent relationships.

Reviewing Unassigned Talents

  1. Click Review Unassigned
  2. Search or filter the active talents that do not have an internal manager
  3. Select one or more talents
  4. Click Assign Selected
  5. Choose the manager and assignment type, then review any conflicts

The unassigned list opens in its own layer so the main page remains focused on team workload. Status and visibility remain visible through each talent avatar without repeating them as row text.

Assigning Talents

  1. Click Assign Talents
  2. Choose an active team member
  3. Choose Primary or Secondary
  4. Search or filter the talent list as needed
  5. Select one or more talents
  6. Review any conflicts, then submit the assignment

You can also start from a manager row or the Review Unassigned layer to preselect part of the form.

Assignment Limits

Each talent can have:

  • One active Primary manager
  • Up to four active Secondary managers
  • Up to five active internal managers total

Existing Other assignments remain visible in coverage totals, but Team Coverage does not create new Other assignments.

Resolving Conflicts

NowRep never replaces management silently.

  • If a talent already has the selected manager, that talent is skipped.
  • If a Primary manager already exists, choose whether to replace that assignment or skip the talent.
  • If Secondary capacity is full, choose the specific Secondary assignment to replace or skip the talent.
  • Archived talents and talents in cleanup cannot be changed from Team Coverage.

Bulk updates can contain a mix of assigned, replaced, and skipped results. Review the completion message after each update.

Assignment History

Replacing or ending management does not delete the old relationship. NowRep ends the previous assignment and keeps it in the talent's History for reporting and audit context.
