User Settings

Accessing User Settings

To access your personal settings:

1. Click on the organization's name in the sidebar (top-left corner)
2. Select Personal Account from the dropdown menu
3. Click on the Profile menu
4. Use the left navigation to switch between Account, Profile, and Preferences

Account Settings

The Account page allows you to manage your core account information:

• Profile Picture – Upload or change your avatar
• Display Name – Your name as shown throughout the app
• Email Address – Update your login email
• Password – Change your password
• Multi-Factor Authentication – Add an extra layer of security

Profile Settings

The Profile page lets you manage your personal information and social links. This information is associated with your user account (not your team account).

Personal Information

Social Links

Connect your social media profiles:

• Instagram – Your Instagram username (e.g., @username)
• Twitter / X – Your Twitter/X username
• LinkedIn – Your LinkedIn profile URL
• Website – Your personal or professional website

Note: Social links are optional and can be added at any time.

Preferences

The Preferences page allows you to customize how NowRep looks and behaves. These settings sync across all your devices.

Appearance

Choose your preferred color theme:

Your theme preference is saved to your account and will be applied whenever you sign in, on any device.

Navigation Sidebar

Control the default state of the navigation sidebar on desktop:

Tip: You can still toggle the sidebar manually at any time. This setting only controls the initial state when you load the app.

Calendar Defaults

Set your preferred default view for the bookings calendar:

Desktop Default:

• Month – Full month calendar view
• Week – 7-day view
• 3 Days – 3-day view

Mobile Default:

• 2 Days – 2-day view (recommended for mobile)
• Week – 7-day view
• 1 Day – Single day view

The app automatically selects the appropriate default based on your screen size.

Library View Defaults

Choose how each library page displays items by default:

You can always switch between Grid and List views on any page using the view toggle in the toolbar. Your preference just determines the initial view when you navigate to each page.

Sorting Defaults

Set the default sort order for each library page:

Talents:

• Last Name (A-Z / Z-A)
• First Name (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Added (Oldest / Newest)
• Last Updated (Oldest / Newest)

Packages:

• Title (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Created (Oldest / Newest)
• Last Updated (Oldest / Newest)

Directory:

• Name (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Added (Oldest / Newest)
• Last Updated (Oldest / Newest)

Boards:

• Title (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Created (Oldest / Newest)
• Last Updated (Oldest / Newest)

Portfolios:

• Title (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Created (Oldest / Newest)
• Last Updated (Oldest / Newest)

Media:

• Filename (A-Z / Z-A)
• Date Added (Oldest / Newest)

Saving Changes

Each settings card has its own Save button. Changes are not applied until you click Save.

• The Save button is disabled when there are no changes
• A loading spinner appears while saving
• Success or error messages appear after saving

Syncing Across Devices

All your preferences are stored in your NowRep account and sync automatically:

• Sign in on a new device and your settings are already there
• Change a setting on one device and it updates everywhere
• Theme and sidebar preferences take effect immediately on page load
