Positions
Define team Positions, assign them to members, and control Team Coverage eligibility.
Positions give your agency a consistent way to describe team responsibilities. They are separate from roles and permissions: a Position can make a member eligible to receive talent assignments, but it never grants Manage Talents or any other permission.
Accessing Positions
- Go to Settings > Positions
- Create or update Positions as your team changes
You need Manage Members permission to manage the Position catalog or assign Positions to members.
Creating a Position
- Click Add Position
- Enter a name and optional description
- Turn on Eligible for talent assignments when members in this Position should be available in Team Coverage
- Save the Position
Use the order controls to arrange active Positions. Keep names specific enough to distinguish booking, representation, finance, and operations work.
Assigning a Position
Choose a Position when inviting an internal member, or open the member actions from Settings > Members and choose Change Position. A member has one active Position at a time. Changing it ends the previous assignment and keeps the old period in Position history.
Pending invitations also carry their selected Position. The Position is applied when the invite is accepted, and the invitation must belong to the same account as the Position.
Team Coverage Eligibility
Team Coverage checks both sides of an assignment:
- The actor must have the Manage Talents permission.
- The target must be an active non-talent member with an active Position whose eligibility is enabled.
Changing the eligibility toggle never changes the actor's permissions. If a member becomes ineligible while still connected to talents, their existing relationships remain visible under Needs Attention until they are ended or reassigned.
Retiring a Position
Retire a Position when it should no longer be used. Retired Positions remain visible in history and cannot be selected for new active assignments. End or reassign active member assignments and reassign or cancel pending invitations before retiring the Position.
When a member is deactivated, their active Position assignment ends with a history reason. Reactivating the member restores account access, but requires a new Position assignment before they can receive new Team Coverage assignments.
See Team Coverage for assigning talents and resolving Needs Attention items.
